Ever wonder just how popular the sport of wrestling is across the pond? People often speculate what the wrestling culture is like in European countries but I aim to find out. I leave in a couple of days for a three week stretch across four European countries and while there I’ll be doing some investigating into the true popularity of wrestling. Check back for my summary and learn once and for all who has the stronger wrestling culture…Us or Them!

    I agree with Coach Jeff. European countries tend to have a stronger wrestling culture than U.S. (from my experience at the high school level).

    Three years ago, I moved to California from Latvia. I noticed that high school wrestling news in my hometown appears more in the media. Plus larger crowds attended wrestling events.

    That’s a good question. Can’t wait to here your findings. Take lot’s of pics and videos so we can all see.

    Though if I were to guess, I think the European culture is more involved with wrestling.
