6 more wrestlers sign at West Valley
6 wrestlers signed up for Fall Class this past weekend at the second athletic registration. This included former CCS Champions Andres Barragan and Nicolo Naranjo, both from Gilroy High School. Barragan won CCS as a Jr, and took 2nd as a Sr. He also finished top 12 at the CIF State Meet. Naranjo was a 4x CCS Placer and CIF State Qualifier, taking first his Soph. and Jr. Years, and placing 4th in the state during his Soph. year. Also commiting to West Valley was Aris Harutuyan of Cupertino High School who was 3rd in the CCS and finished top 12 at the CIF State Meet. Tina Linshamount from Silver Creek also signed this past weekend. Linshamount was the first female ever to place at CCS, taking 6th her Jr. year. As a Sr. Tina was 2nd in the High School girls national tournament. She was also a Jr. Fila National Placer this Freestyle season.
